So can we call gay people queer again?
I'm confused - having spent years teaching myself to use the term gay (as an adjective or noun) meaning homosexual, as anything else was too insulting, I now find a series on "queer art" on the BBC, with many of the presenters referring to themselves as queer.

I'd rather not be called queer and I certainly don't like being lumped in with transsexuals or people with gender fluidity as I have nothing in common with them.

I once met a proper old country fella in his late 80's and he said to me he wasn't sure about this bloke he'd met as he thought he probably "walked with a squeak" which I always quite liked....

'I refer to them these days as people.'

This is a piece of virtue-signalling so pitifully transparent I think it best that rather than rip the piss out of him, we treat it now as one of comma's famous ret-conned fishing trips.

the 'Q' in LGBTQ stands for 'queer', and apparently applies to those who dont consider themself LGBT.

so could be a pre-op transexual guy who thinks hes a bird and fancies men.
